Effective Firearm Calibers.

This is a touchy subject in the Tactical and Survivalist community. There is a Large "Battle" if you will, between .223 Remington and 7.62x39mm. More specifically the AR-15 and the AK-47. First off, I'm sick of hearing it, use what works for you! weather it be .223 Remington, 7.62x39, 5.45x39mm, or even a damn .22! But here are some Pros and Cons of some calibers anyway.

- Lightweight.
- Affordable.
- Readily available in SHTF.
- Usable in U.S. Military weaponry.
- Ability to penetrate body armor at close range.
- Accurate to a point.

CONS
- Shit accuracy past about 400 yards.
- minimal penetration past ~150 yards.
- People(/troops) will kill you for your ammunition if they are desperate.
- Most firearms that shoot .223 Remington are Very expensive. (AR-15's are usually 700$+)

CONS
- Lack the ability of Light Armor Penetration past ~100 yards.
